About Junior Gardeners
Junior Gardeners is a free program offered by garden club members to all 3rd, 4th and 5th graders! We meet monthly with students after school from 2:45-3:45 in the Deer Hill cafeteria. Each month a different club member works on a project with the children. Meeting dates for 2010 - 2011: Please send your child's name, grade level and requested program dates along with your name, contact phone # and email to Joan Carlo .
Parents are always welcome to observe and/or volunteer at any meetings. This program is being financed through the volunteer work of its members in several fund raising endeavors. The most well known is the Christmas House Tour held every other December. Through the endeavors of the full club, we have published two cookbooks, Cohasset Entertains and by popular demand is in the process of being reprinted plus Cohasset Entertains Encore which is currently available. The Eclectic Gardener, the newest publication is a month by month gardening journal packed with plant information plus recipes and crafts.
